RED LETTER

What's the story?

What was it like to be a new believer in the book of Acts and the New Testament?

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20  19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.  20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”(Emphasis mine)

How did the Apostles teach these new believers?

That's why the Gospels exist.  They are not just a story about Jesus, it is what the disciples taught these new believers.

What's the plan?

Teach what the Apostles taught.  The red letters of the Bible.  What are red letters?

In 1899 with Louis Klopsch, the editor of a Christian magazine, decided to print the words of Jesus in red ink to emphasize them. He wanted people to more easily identify and focus on the words and teachings of Jesus.

We are going to go, verse by verse, of every phrase Jesus said and discover why the Apostles thought it was so important for us to know.
